Kopaonik, Jošanička Spa, ĐavoljaVaroš, Kruševac, Vrnjačka Spa

Kopaonik(also known as Silver Mountain) is the highest mountain range in Serbia, 280km away from Belgrade. One part of it is protected area under the name National Park Kopaonik in which are found a number of protected natural areas, and therein lays the biggest ski resort in Serbia. Its highest peak is Pancic peak with 2017m asl. which contains the mausoleum of the famous Serbian scientist after whom it was named Josif Pančić.

      

Jošanička Spa is located on the slopes of Kopaonik (24 km) in the valley of the river Jošanica. Jošanička Spa is considered to be among the balneological settlements with the hottest water in Europe, which with the proximity of the beautiful landscapes of Kopaonik and Golija as well as good transport infrastructure, enables it to be a major tourist destination in this region. Jošanička Spa has 5 mineral water springs, which are included among the warmest in the country. The main source gives 7 liters per second and the temperature is 78C. ĐavoljaVaroš is a very attractive natural phenomenon, which is located in southern Serbia, about 90 km southwest of Niš. It consists of 202 stone figures that were created by long-lasting work of nature. This geomorphological phenomenon is unique in Serbia and is very rare in the world. In Europe, there are similar occurrences in the Alps, as well as in the United States, the famous "Garden of the Gods", but the towers in ĐavoljaVaroš are much larger and more stable than those in other European countries, thus being the most famous natural monument of its kind in Europe. In 1995. Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia declared ĐavoljaVaroš a natural resource of great importance and was placed in the first category of protection, and is also on the tentative list of UNESCO.

      

Kruševac is a town in the Rasina district, 200km away from Belgrade. Krusevac as his capital was built by Prince Lazar in 1371. Krusevac is a strong economic center with a specially developed metal-processing and chemical industry. There is also a factory of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages "Rubin". The most important holiday in the city of Krusevac is certainly Vidovdan, deeply rooted in the consciousness of the population in these areas as a day of Prince Lazar's death in the battle of Kosovo 1389. for the preservation of Serbian nation against the Ottomans. Vrnjacka Spa is the largest spa in Serbia, situated about 200 km from Belgrade. Vrnjacka spa has seven mineral springs, of which four are used for therapy, while two are bottled as table mineral water. Over the year, particularly in the months of summer tourist season, Vrnjacka Spa, is offering its visitors an extremely rich, eventful and varied cultural - entertaining program. Numerous sports and recreational facilities and grounds provide very favorable conditions for recreation and are suitable for the preparation of sports teams.

      

In the summer, Vrnjacka Spa is the host of a music festival Lovefest since 2007. andthe festival was nominated for the Best European Festival in 2013.
